With Vent d'hiver, I wanted to translate into paint the feeling of sharp cold and the subtle movement of a landscape in transformation. I worked with a palette of deep blues, light grays, and bright whites to create an atmosphere that is both pure and vibrant, as if crossed by the wind.
My semi-figurative approach lets certain elements appear—maybe a silhouette, a forest, or a swirl of snow. I used acrylic in layered strokes to give texture to the image and enhance this sense of cold and movement.
