In my work, I try to find a balance between abstract and figurative. I like spontaneous gestures to coexist with a more thoughtful composition.
With Larmes de crocodile, I wanted to create a tension between flow and contrast. The layers of paint build up to create a depth that is both moving and introspective. As in my other works, I play with texture and transparency, showing some things while hinting at others.
